You came to our house Scarred and stained A darkness over you From satan’s reign. You were introduced To our best friend Then slowly your life Began to mend. Egyptians flocked To probe and stare What are you doing? Why are you here? Many times you Might have returned To the wonderland Where you were burned. A thousand times You chose to stay Believing there was A better way. Egypt calling Please come back It’s you we need There’s such a gap Battles fought Battles won As you held on To the Perfect One. Well little one You survived the sea From all the Egyptians You managed to flee. Just as you came Wretched and poor The hopeless ones will Come to your door. And so it goes on The Kingdom grows As from His side The Life Blood flows. As you bear His name As you carry His light You tell the world He has won the fight.
